Wines that go wild aka "make Bambule"

Wine and nature: For Judith Beck, they simply belong together. In 2004, the winemaker from Burgenland took over the family business and converted to biodynamics. Healthy, natural vines are the best prerequisite for good wine. Judith Beck also relies on quantity reduction, hand harvesting, wood contact and minimalism in the cellar. This can be seen, smelled and, above all, tasted. Her Zero Zero line "Bambule" is particularly exciting. The Zweigelt Bambule is a definite recommendation! These wines are allowed to be wild, allowed to irritate, allowed to make Bambule. We are thrilled by these rebels in the glass.

Lake Neusiedl, Austria

Not far from Vienna, a fabulously diverse world unfolds in the east of Austria. From the steppe lakes, to the endless expansion of the Pannonian Plain, to the colorful vineyards spread across Burgenland. In the northeast lies the wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee. This is where Judith Beck and her vines live. And yup, the name says it all. The huge lake has an incredible influence on the climate in the region, it can get quite hot! The landscape here is mostly just a bit hilly and on nice days you can see as far as Hungary.
