Orange wine - What is it anyway?
Here are the hard facts: In natural white winemaking, the grapes are pressed directly. This is slightly different for red wine. Here, the grapes are either destemmed (the berries are separated from the stalk) or crushed with the stalk. Extraction on the skins for days or weeks gives the wine its dark color and intense aroma.
