This Grüner Veltliner is dedicated to a frequent visitor of Michael's vineyards: the buzzard. And it does him proud: The wine is fresh, tasting of quince, green apple, and lemon. And it goes surprisingly well with babybel, according to our sommelière Anne.

Michael Gindl's attachment to nature almost borders on fanaticism. We think that's a good thing. He regards the Demeter-certified Weingut mg vom sol as a living organism that regulates itself in the sense of a cycle. The vineyards are farmed with the help of horses and miniature sheep, and the wood for the wine barrels comes from the estate's own forest.
