This orange wine from Michael Wenzel has always been one of our favorites. It smells of jasmine flowers and tastes like peach iced tea with a slice of lemon. It doesn't get any better than this!

Michael's great love is the Furmint. And rightly so: Furmint wines are fruity, floral and a bit nutty. When the grape variety was threatened with extinction in the 20th century, Michael's dad Robert transported Hungarian vines across the border to reintegrate the grape into the local wine culture. And lo and behold, Furmint feels right at home in Austria.
