8 Rosés for Every Taste

Few wine colors are as misunderstood as rosé. Rosé wine, in fact, can do so much more than just picnic-in-the-park accompaniment (although that already sounds pretty good). Here we introduce you to 8 very different natural wine rosés. All of them winners!

Natural wine rosé for the win

From light and fresh, to aromatic and fruity, to strong and intense. Which one would you like?

1. Rosa Pünktchen by Glücksjäger

Cabernet Sauvignon as a rosé? Who would have thought that the combination can become such a fresh rosé. When you close your eyes, you enter a fairy tale forest full of wild berries and ripe cherries. The grass smells fresh and juicy, and somewhere far in the back someone is celebrating a barbecue with a slight hint of smoke and some pepper. Thank you, Glücksjäger!

2. Rosé from Malinga

Christoph from Malinga clearly wanted to bring out all the freshness and lightness that was possible. And wow! This rosé is more refreshing than a glass of soda with lemon. Somehow salty, but also restrained blackberry.

3. Rosé by Nature from Pittnauer

The color of Pitti' s wine alone is incredible: pinkish red with hints of orange. A Blaufränkisch, which goes exploring, picking up an apple here and there, buying a sachet of cumin and loose jasmine tea, and then settles into its amphora bed to age with a bit of yeast and a pleasant acidity.

4. Glücksbrause from Glücksjäger

Rosé and bubbly in combination? In our opinion, a Pet Nat should definitely not be missing from this list. Pet Nat from Glücksjäger contains everything that spring brings with it: rhubarb, strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream: please and thank you!

5. Dope from Claus Preisinger

Dopest kid in town! When you combine freshly pressed Blaufränkisch from the best location with Claus' cellar skills and an amphora, you get what? DOPE. A rosé that takes its time in fermentation and absolutely deserves it! Attention: strictly limited!

6. Hunny Bunny by Judith Beck

Hunny Bunny is made for hot days and is always welcome in our fridge. Judith Beck has packed hardly any tannin into this rosé, but all the more ripe apples, plums and preserved strawberries. With the slightly salty note, it stays as fresh as a rabbit on vacation!

7. RAW Rosé from Eschenhof-Holzer

Fizz in a dream format from Eschenhof-Holzer. Perfect format for an after work drink, a cool down after a hot summer day or as an apéritif. Just pop it open and enjoy the bubbly freshness kick full of citrus, blackberries and rhubarb. Our recommendation: Pet Nat to go!

8. RAW Rosé from Eschenhof-Holzer

Finally, things get a little crazy again. Bianka & Daniel let their FKK Rosé ferment a second time in the tank and sent it bubbling into the bottle. The result is something really great. A tart Rosé Fizz with green notes, licorice and grapefruit.
